"Everything is absolutely perfect: the hospitality, the service the food, the rooms, the beach, all. only thing stopping me tl give this a perfect 10 is the fact the island ( i assume) wants to be orientated towards family friendly, but it went overboard. It was full of toddlers, a mean i have never seen so many toddlers in one place in any hotel in my life. As the island is very small, you can't have any place to hide from them. It would have been better if they would at least split the island...

"Velassaru is about a 20-30 min boat ride from Mele. The boat they use is big, air conditioned and very comfortable so don't worry about being sea sick! The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained, it truly is a little piece of paradise. We stayed in the sunset side bungalows, #308 over the water, they are completely private with their own pool and a much needed breeze. "Baros is a dream destination, located in between a lagoon and a beautiful reef. By the way, the house reef is incredible and you can spot many species, including sharks, turtles, rays and hundreds of species of fish.
