"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. Top Northern Vietnam Hotel Reviews

Meritel Hanoi

10/10 Excellent

"Helpful staff. Great location"

Hanoi Royal Premium Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room was quite functional but didn’t look like the pictures. Still it was clean and quite roomy and the hotel is in a great location to explore the Old Quarter. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great, with enough choices for a good start to the day. It was a good value, well located choice for our first visit to Hanoi."

The Hanoi Signature Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff are very courteous and helpful. We had a concern about our AC system but got resolved in less than 2 minutes. The room is comfortable for 5 guests. Breakfast was great! The balcony was just right. Special thanks to Mimi, Celina, Dason, Robert, Lam. The housekeeping and the dining staff are super helpful and kind. I will recommend The Hanoi Signature Hotel to friends due to its accessibility to everything."
