"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Salinda! The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed the overall layout of the resort. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the ocean due to rough sea but the beach area was clean and the sand soft. There were pool chairs for everyone and very attentive pool staff. "Overall it was great. The staff are great, and made the experience a good memory. But at the price and with 5-stars, I was surprised to see multiple issues that could be addressed with a little more attention to detail and some basic maintenance. Just a random example is a hairdryer in our room that was obviously majorly cracked and looked unsafe to use. It worked and likely got dismissed by staff as “well it works, right?” For other 5-star hotels at this price, I expect it would get replaced...
