Amazing spot. Nice upper deck that’s a great a lot to hang out in the evenings. Central to the town of Vieques. The owner, Gina, goes above and beyond to offer what you need to have a good time.

This is a good place to stay if you are looking for a budget/cheap hotel. This is more like an Airbnb place and there is not enough information provided regarding the place on the website. This is the only hotel in the neighborhood and I recommend you to stay at Esperanza. We were not provided with comforters and were given bed sheets to use as comforters. The bed was not at all comfortable and we had trouble sleeping all night.

Belle petite place, mais la propriétaire ne se connecte plus sur expédia! Donc elle ne savait pas que nous arrivions!! Heureusement, il y avait de la place disponible! Les nuits sont très bruyantes dans ce quartier.

The good vibe house was excellent, a 5 minute walk to the ferry and Playa Cristal. Very clean, nice and affordable. Definetly will stay there again.

The house was fine. I didn't really care for the neighborhood and there was only on-street parking. This is more of a hostel feel- 3 rooms with multiple beds, 1 shared kitchen, 1 shared bathroom- at least in the downstairs area. I don't know about the upstairs rooms. The owner was very friendly and offered to give dancing lessons, gave us advice for fun places to see, etc. The 'pool' is very, very small- more hot tub sized. It did have wi-fi, which was nice. This wouldn't be an ideal place for couples looking for a romantic getaway- not a lot of privacy or quiet. I stayed with 2 close friends and we were just fine. Every room locked and it was very safe.

would not stay again

The only good thing about this hostel is that the price is affordable. Other than that, we were not happy staying there. There was no hot water for the shower, the space between the bunk beds was so small, the owner was a nice lady but the taxi driver seemed to care a lot more about money than service, he did not pick up calls when we have informed him in advance about our requests, and charged us more than he was supposed to. We had to go back to the owner after we checked out to get the money back.

Good Vibe Hotel

A very friendly and helping hostess running the hotell. Simple place, yet with a great atmosphere. Strategic place for experiencing Vieques. Best is to have your own car. Taxi costs $5 per person and trip, no matter of distance. You can rent bicycles at the hotel

Poor customer service

Not at all impressed with customer service. We arrived before 6pm and there was no one on the property to check us in. We tried calling every phone number on the sign before finally getting through to someone who just gave us a code to access the key to our room over the phone. The delay made us late to reach our bio bay tour. The room was very basic, but clean, although the shared bathroom was not. We were only left one towel for 2 people. We never did see anyone in charge before checking out in the morning. This is a hostel, not a guest house, an over-priced one at best.

a ok hostel. Kitchen area is really bright and clean even though we did not use it. Bathroom could be brighter if possible, maybe just chane light bulb to a brighter one. Bedroom is clean but too dark too.

Convenient and affordable guest house at Vieques

The guest House is walking distance from the ferry , which was really convenient. The room was clean , spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was shared and it was also really clean. We were alone during our stay so , was like a private bathroom for us upstairs :-) Staff is very welcome and helpful , Victor and Carlos helped us to get a Biobay tour which is a must. We enjoyed it a lot since this was the motive of our saty in Vieques. Victor also got us a snorkeling masks , and told us where the turtles were , do not miss it... you need to see them. In Vieques you need a car or a taxi , no matter where are you staying , beaches are on the south and there is nothing around so you need transportation to get there. We were traveling on budget so , we opted for rent 2 bikes at the Good Vibe House. Distances to the beach are not close but we did some exercise lol. We definitely stay there again and we definitely recommend this place for people that cannot afford a hotel (i was looking for a hotel , and the cost was $180 per night , which is too expensive for us) Thanks a lot Victor and Carlos and we will come back for sure.

The hostel was quick to email me after making a reservation, and arranged transportation for us from old San Juan to the ferry terminal (an hour drive) for an affordable price which was incredibly helpful. When we arrived to vieques we had the unfortunate timing of all of Puerto Rico experiencing a multi day power outage. Victor and Carlos were both very nice and easy going. They rented us a car to travel to the island beaches (not walking distance) and answered any other questions we had. The good vibe house is basic accommodations and was just fine for the price. Due to the power outage (all of Puerto Rico, not good vibe house) we didn't get to experience things properly. We (as well as another couple staying there we befriended) mentioned that we needed candles for the common area because everything was pitch dark, but that never happened, and that's my only complaint. Overall, I would stay at good vibe house again, and really liked dealing with Carlos and Victor especially. I travel a lot and they just had a really cool vibe about them. Less "business professional" and more "we are laid back but really take your stay seriously" kinda vibe. And I mean that as a compliment. They are there to help if you meed it, but otherwise will just stay out of your way, with the exception of checking on you with a smile now and then. We were there in the off season and it looked like they were doing some upgrading around thr property, so that will be nice for future travelers

If you are looking for something cheap and clean, this is the best place to stay. Just rent a scooter from the fun brother and you are good to have a fun tour of the island.

Vieques getaway at the Good Vibe House

Carlos was amazing! He had a taxi come and pick us up from the ferry station and he took us to every where we wanted to go. Price was great and Carlos was very personable.would definetly come again

The Guest House is perfect! Walking distance Ferry

The guest house was perfect for our stay. The staff help us with everything, Bio Bay, Cars, Any doubt we have they were there to help. This is a guest House, like a hostel. Really clean, next to the supermarkets, ferry , restaurants. You need a car in vieques to get the south beaches, and bring your own water, there is nothing around@ virgin beaches, beautifull. The room was clean with AC and the bath is shared outside. We really love Vieques and we really recomend this placce
