Everything was great! The location, staff and the breakfast. You can hear the street noise, but it is because it is a very central location.

Best location and cozy place

This is my second time in thie pension, I'm sure there will be more. The hotel has the best location in the old city : right in the centre of it but very very quiet street, Welcoming staff, great breakfast, spacious rooms.

Quaint and european feeling hotel located in the center of the key sights. Doesnt have a/c so if its a warm day that could be an issue. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

Older building. Nice Pension. Reasonable cost compared to much more expensive hotels in Vienna. Easy to get to & from with tram & uBahn. Friendly 24 hr desk. Grat breakfast

This hotel has its limitations but it's still a good option. Room was dated and in need of updating but the bed was very comfy and it was quiet l. Small bathroom, good shower. WiFi slightly choppy but basically reliable. Heating could be more effective. Staff very helpful, good breakfast. Excellent location. Decent value for money.

Vienna Short Stay

The hotel is located in an excellent location with many attractions (restaurants, shopping, churches, and attractions) within easy walking distance. The breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. To top it off, the room had a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. My room was small and there was no air conditioning. Fortunately, the windows could be opened to cool the room. I would recommend this hotel.

Your home away from home

. The perfect place to stay. The lication can't be better - about 50m from st. Stephans dome. All cosy ans worm and welcoming. Breakfast is great - freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, cold pkates of ham and cheese, spreads, all you wish. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Birgita is so kind and generous. Already booked for next month.

Some where between a hostel and a cheap hotel. Shared baths or shared toilets... You choose. No amenities, good staff and good location. Parking is a 10 minute drive (one ways, traffic) to a garage... 6 minute walk @ $26 Location and kind staff are the only saving grace.

Amazing location-just steps from so much to see and do. Super helpful staff! However, comfort might be a trade off for that exceptional location and lovely staff. The walls are very thin so noise is an issue. The heat in our room could not be turned off, so even though it was winter-we were sweating in the room. And take note-no ac in the summer. But again-great location and wonderful staff.

It’s a phenomenal location. Metro is within 2min and you’re in central. There’s a Billa Corso right beside it for you daily items and quick grab-n-go food needs. At the time of our stay (2023), morning buffet was included. Room size for 2 is decent. My one gripe is that the toilet is communal. It is kept very clean but just a heads up. You do have a shower in the room. Overall a good experience given the amazing location.

Christmas in Vienna.

We had a really good time staying at this property. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The front desk staff was very welcoming and very friendly, especially Brigitte. We will have fond memories of Vienna because of her. The property is in a great location, walking distance to most attractions, museums, shops and restaurants. We were so nicely surprised how good food in Vienna is! Breakfast at the hotel was tasty, coffee was really good and bread always fresh. We had spacious room for three with a view of the square with Christmas lights. Rooms could be little more modernized, but we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s a great price for location and quality. We would stay at this place again without hesitation. Thank you for having us!

Perfect for this price

I was very pleased with my one night stay. Yes the hotel building and the rooms are very old but I think thats what the makes authentic. I felt like I’m staying at the real historic uniqe Austrian building. Plus the cleaning was very good eventhough the furnitures were old. The weather was rainy so I didnt had a problem with rooms air condition. Breakfast was small but nice and enough. Staff at the reception and breakfast were so kind and warm. The best thing about the hotel was location, it was right in the center. So at first I was afraid when I read the bad reviews but I think its really a good choice if you are looking for cleaning & location and not spending much time in the hotel

Worst Hotel, terrible, don't waste your money.

Why I said don't waste your money!!. First when we arrived at the hotel, homeless people in front of the hotel. Dirty around. The bathroom is so ridiculous small, but the shower is xxx small hard to take a shower. The carpet in the room was so dirty. The breakfast place is so antique, small place. I requested a scramble eggs, and they said no, sorry, the food you see there is what we have for breakfast, only American coffee, nothing else. No extra choice. I'm so disappointed because of other travelers' reviews, that said good place, and it's not. I have to be honest because my time, vacation, and money count

Would not stay again unless they upgrade beds

I messed up and didn't notice I had booked a room without an ensuite. That was the first issue. Second was that parking was a bit away and you can't leave you car downstairs to load unload without a paper that goes on the dash. The third and perhaps most detrimental was the beds. Thin mattress (about 1 1/2 inch thick) on top of a wooden base. My body doesn't do these type beds well. So we slept very little. Once settles, all was ok. The staff offered to upgrade our room for the last night if we wanted to pay another $100. Since that is what the rate was anyway just for one room, I politely declined. We stayed our time and enjoyed the area.
