Nice Father and son trip

My son and I came to Vienna to see and hear the symphony. We were a few blocks away from the subway and found it easy to get around the city from our location.

Not a great experience, unfortunately.

I got an early check in which was positive after a long trip, however the end of the stay was not very positive. I had some problems in my room that meant we had to send all my clothes for cleaning. When checking out I was asked to pay 168 Euros for the cleaning that was caused by the hotel. When I explained why I needed the cleaning they talked to the manager and changed, but it was strange that they had not waived the bill already before. Overall the rooms were nice and breakfast okay, but these communication issues are something I hope they will work on improving.

Good stay but no servicing of room.

Very nice hotel in a great location by the Prater park. Room was clean. The only things that let it down was no room servicing in our 3 night stay, meaning that in baking hot temperatures of 34 degrees, we had to use the same towel after every shower. I appreciate the environmental issue but I would expect the towels to be changed every other day. I also didn’t like dogs being allowed into the breakfast room, for hygiene purposes.

Decent hotel at great location

Decent hotel at great location. Pro: nice room with big, comfortable bed and places to sit. 24h check-in/out. Very nice breakfast with hot dishes. Wifi worked very good. Con: all doors slam shut very loudly. Not possible to go to sleep until all people on the same floor were in their rooms. There was a big tv in the room but it was not possible to connect either computer or iPhone - I couldn’t access the HDMI-ports and casting only worked with Android phones according to the receptionist.

An honest review

A comfortable stay. A few things to note for potential guests. The hotel phones were only able to receive calls from reception. We could not dial out. After raising our concerns, they moved us to another room. They did not work in either room. There is no shaver sockets in the bathrooms but there’s plenty of domestic sockets around. There’s no mini fridge or complimentary water provided. Only Hilton honors members get complimentary water provided. The breakfast was pretty decent (very continental) it gets very busy during peak times. The staff were friendly. Our original room was an accessibility room which was pretty bleak and miserable. We got moved to a standard room which was so much better.
