Loved Vernazza, not this room

Pros: Vernazza was our favorite place in Italy. Beautiful small town with great food, wine, and views at a fair price. This room was the best price in town and allowed us to experience Vernazza without breaking the bank. Its location - though not as close to town as the hotels.com description suggests - is still good. No views of anything but a parking lot, but it's a short walk to town. Cons: the accommodation is meh, and I'm really not picky. Communication was lousy; I had to chat with a hotels.com agent to get them to have the owner contact me because she was not responding to my messages, so it took an hour before we could finally get in. The room was dark and kinda gloomy. No Wi-Fi (they said it was down) and limited cell reception. No washer/dryer as the description claims, so we were stuck wearing dirty hiking clothes the next day. If you're wondering whether to stay in Vernazza: do. If you can afford something nicer, or can plan to not spend much time in the room, this place gets the job done.

Great locations. Close to the train station, actions, hiking trails, food, etc. The place has a nice modern feel. It is quiet and safe. I didn't receive entry instructions until the day before when I reached out. I couldn't get into the flat until an hour after check in. We sat outside in the rain. Had to contact Expedia. No Internet. They have mold issue.

Vernazza Rooftop Review

The good - it's in a quieter but still convenient to the train location in Vernazza. Could comfortably sleep up to 4 if you needed. The bad - the place itself is pretty bare-boned with the typical airbnb veneer to try to mask warts. I was out almost all day the few days I was there so wasn't a major issue for me personally. The A/C and the wifi also did not work, and check in was not the most smooth so make sure you have your instructions and lock box code in advance of showing. That said, it was notably cheaper than nearby options so all in all I'd probably book it again under similar circumstances.

Allt var perfekt ! Hamna här av en slump då vi hade bokat boende i Vernazza men blev grund lurade på boendet. Hotells hjälpte mig och hitta annat boende på annat ställe efter mina önskemål. Sängarna var verkligen helt perfekta! Sov som en prins och prinsessa. Tack för allt, även mina hundar trivdes jätte bra.
