"This property is just okay...we checked in, took one look at the room, came back on Expedia, booked another room and left the key on the counter, all within 10 minutes of arriving at the "hotel". This place is very misrepresented on Expedia and it is cute and serene, but not for us. Upon walking in, it's a cute, cozy "living room" with a fireplace and the guy that checked us in was friendly (and shoeless...odd...). He personally walked us up to our room and told us about dinner. "Absolutely beautiful! The von Trapp Family Lodge is worth it. The accommodations were spacious and cozy. Dinner at the Bierhall was delicious. I have a gluten and dairy allergy. There were many choices to choose from, my food came out first with an allergy marker, and I wasn't exposed to any allergens. "

"This is a very unique hotel. The bathroom is 2 rooms, which is a little odd, and the whole configuration is different, not bad, just different. Had a lot of road construction in the area, which affected our walkability, but we managed. The bed was comfortable."
