Hotel Porto Calpe

"Hotel Porto is excellent value & in the ideal location for walking in both directions or for transport. *The bus stop to town & finishing at the Tram station is opposite the entrance to the Port. There are also buses in the opposite direction. My Beniconnect drop off & collection point was ar the same bus stop Hotel reception were helpful printing timetables & provided a map of the area although I saw at least one Tourist Information kiosk at each of the two main beaches *I requested a hospitality tray with a kettle for the bedroom & packed coffee sachets & teabags for a week. *The fridge was perfect for storing milk, water & fruit. *Air conditioning is a big plus! *On Friday eve, there was live music at the adjoining restaurant which offers 10% discount on main meal using the voucher. My choice of meal was excellent value. The ferry to Moraira or Benidorm has a ticket kiosk which was visible from my bedroom. The Tourist train from town stops at Baydal opposite the Hotel & useful when too tired to walk back from Bol beach. Excellent buffet breakfast is available at the hotel. I am very grateful to all the staff who were so helpful & polite whenever I needed advice or assistance."

"Room was clean, staff make me wait until last minute to give me the room booked(no were in Spain in a 4*hotel i waited until last minute to receive a room), breakfast good, spa didn't try. Close to the beach and harbour, walked 20 minutes to town centre."

"Very lean room, and attentive staff. Unfortunately, broken toilet seat was never replaced in 6 days and the WiFi was a faf, as cumbersome process to log on EVERY time one left and re-entered hotel. That apart would recommend as central hotel in Dénia."

"Rooms were very well cleaned and looked after. Majority of staff where very helpfull. Taxi service to aid hotel was very poor. Parking was disorganised with cars parking in random places. Having to carry down deck chairs to beach is poor in the year 2026. Having to get a gym card every morning for gym access is not acceptable, surely room key card should be suffice."
