"Wyndham has bought this hotel and is in the process of redoing it. I like they started with the rooms first and look to be half done with the rooms. The room I stayed in ( one queen bed) was just as the pictures showed. My room had lighting added as you could tell and everything was controlled by wall switches including whether you wanted room service that day or do not disturb... no more putting a sign on the door
Included breakfast was good. They even have put in filtered water stations next to the ice machines. Would stay again"
"This was a clean, fairly basic room with plenty of amenities if you just need a place to sleep. The woman who checked us in was SUPER nice. There was a small refrigerator, desk, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, TV with solid cable options and good AC. We LOVED the room for the price. I go to Salina about once a year and will absolutely be staying there again."
"The hotel was clean and adequate for our needs. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast.
There was a musty smell noted in the room and stairwell.
Would stay there again."
"Im a veteran traveler, but Im retired on a fixed budget. This place looks to be an old red roof inn, that the owner operator is restoring. My room was very well appointed, the furniture a bit dated but sturdy and clean. The showers are just a large step in platform, Perfect for seniors. Everything advertised is here, you will see ongoing improvements. It seems the owner is determined to make it very safe and updated. The bed is as good as any Marriott, the breakfast is waffles, serial and great coffee, with some fruit. There is a Mexican and Russel’s restaurant in walking distance. Also a 24hr Travel Store. So if you bang for your budget dollars, Salina Inn gets my vote."
"The pool area had open wires on the ceiling. It could use a little more water flow in the water slide. Pool area could use an update. But the people were so nice."
