"We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Jokulsarlon. Sadly, the country was in a major weather alert situation so the views you would typically see were not visible. Despite this, we were able to still do a Glacier Lagoon boat tour and enjoy the hotels outdoor hot tubs. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant. On check-out day, the sun came out and we did get to see what the normal setting is and it truly is spectacular. The rooms are super nice and they provide slippers and robes...

"Location Location Location The guesthouse was a wonderful location to access the hiking trail to the glacier. We stayed in one of the two-unit bunk houses. The room was small but we enjoyed it.
