"Well, I was expecting a room that looked like the pictures, but I think that's the second floor w those big windows. Instead, we got a room on the ground floor around the side corner of the garage. No clue on where to park so we just parked somewhere hoping it didn't block others. The room was quite big, but there was no table or desk to put stuff on, everything ended up on the floor which I hate. The bathroom is pretty nice but again very lacking in counter space. "Wir kamen spät abends in der Unterkunft an. Wir hatten uns hierfür entschieden, da uns die Fotos auf der Internetseite überzeugt hatten. Das Zimmer war ein Schock. Extrem alt und klein. Das Badezimmer ging gar nicht, uralt und gammelig, es war nicht einmal eine Ablage für Zahnbürste oder sonstiges da. Handtücher gab es nicht, diese wurden mit Papierhandtüchern aus einem Spender ersetzt. Warum, hat sich uns nicht erschlossen. Den Müll kan man vermeiden. Da wir nur für eine Nacht dort gebucht...

"We stayed 6 nites...more than the average visitor. We received the Aurora alert on the 2 nights it was visible. Staff was exceptional Front desk, Wait staff, bar tender and housekeeping. Restaurant was the only restaurant inside of 2 hours but we enjoyed the selections. Fresh, great taste and good variety. Our room faced the ocean and we could watch the storms come and go. Best location for the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. (30 min. away). Large parking lot- they service bus...

"The hotel was so comfortable with heating floor system. The breakfast was pretty simple but we appreciated the staff specially prepared the breakfast earlier for us as we need to head out earlier for our glacier excursion. We enjoyed the hot tub very much! We can even saw the glacier from the hotel room! Highly recommended! "
