"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"Wonderful old hotel restaurant with character and perfect location to visit Souillac and connect to other beautiful nearby towns, Rocamadour, Sarlat, Martel, etc. Their public buses have a limited schedule off-season. "

"We had a very comfortable two day stay. Very friendly and efficient reception staff.Breakfast in the adjoing building was very good. An excellent, well maintained swimming pool was very enjoyable, especially in the hot weather! Aircon and a lift would be welcome additions. "

"Room with old furniture, very short bed... I am 1.75 m, so not very tall, but the bed was still very short for me. The room only had chairs with straw seats, very uncomfortable. To get to the rooms there is a narrow staircase with very old carpet. I also expected a better breakfast, there was even expired yoghurt on the buffet. "
