Room was big enough, furniture, old, TV was working intermittently, remote was not working properly. No wifi for two days, otherwise intermittently, washbasin drained very slowly , in spite of telling very soon after we checked was never cleared (stayed 5 nights), light bulbs in the bathroom needed replacement, coffee pot didn't work needed replacement, toilet was not cleaned when checked in, breakfast starts at 7.30 which is late and few other items, 1.5* my generous rating.would not stay there again, look for 4 star in places like this , which would give you prob. 3 star hotel, this ranking is probably their own not by others.

This is not a 3-star hotel
Reception desk is the most unfriendly I have seen. Their motive is to extract as much money from the customer without providing the necessary facilities.
1. There was no complimentary breakfast . I paid 5000 rupees for 2 nights and still that was not sufficient for them to provide free breakfast. I have paid less and got free breakfast in many places in the past
2. Room was not cleaned well. There were sugar stains on the table it seemed to be there forever!
3. Menu prices are high but quality of food and ambiance did not match the price. That also explains why the restaurant is empty every time I took a glance.
Overall it's not a star hotel and doesn't deserve the hefty price it charges its cutomer. It would have been a good stay had the price been half of what I paid.
Expedia should NOT be listing this place!

Muy caro para lo que ofrecen
Este hotel es demasiado caro para lo malo que es, además los servicios NUNCA funcionan, no hay wifi gratuito (ni de paga porque nunca sirve) su bussiness center es una broma. En general la limpieza de las habitaciones no es muy buena, demasiado caro y demasiado lejos de la zona turistica de Varanasi.

reasonable hotel, but not value for money
cleanliness very poor; bathroom particularly.Bathrooms are old; tiles dirty, need replacement.Not hygenic.They do not use ant santiser/or Harpic for toilets;seat dirty.My wife picked up infection.Room small & too much furniture, difficulty in free movement.Not worth money they charge--perhaps because of too many tourists.Not a 3 star property.

Near Rly Station
The stay was comfortable. However, there should have been a internet connection in the room. (yi-fi). The food is very costly and the service is a bit slow. I had reserved rooms for occupancy of two persons. But the reception insisted that it was only of single occupancy and I was additional charged for extra bed in spite of my informing them that the booking was for two adults per room. I had to shell out Rs. 1600 more. It therefore advised that all the inclusions and exclusions shall be doubly confirmed before getting into the Hotel.

The hotel room itself was nice. The lobby was pleasant. The staff need some training, and the front desk was somewhat unaccommodating about their errors in billing. But as a person there for work and in a hurry, the place was fine. Easier taxi access will make the place better. And Wi-Fi would be helpful too.

Good location

Don't stay, find another hotel
When we checked-in, we requested a late check-out around 3pm but the manager in-charge said we can check-out at 2pm. We agreed. But on 11:38am on Sept 7, we got a call from reception that they are expecting a big group and we need to empty the room by 12pm. My husband told them that we were given time until 2pm last evening at the time of check-in. They argued with him to give the name of person who said so, as if they did not know who was on duty? Anyway, he said we will try our best as it was already so late.

The hotel Vaibav at Varanasi
I have booked two Air-conditioned rooms and paid for the same. But from the moment we have checked-in the rooms, the Air-conditioner was not at all working. When i complained to the hotel officials ,they informed me that due to power cut the air-conditioner is not working I WANT THEM TO REFUND THE EXCESS MONEY i.e., they should have charged only Ordinary room fare but not air-conditioned room fare. Since the air-conditioner was not working we felt very uncomfortable. And also, I have decided not to book the rooms at VAIBAV in future and also informed to my friends about the hotel. Therefore, kindly give advise them to keep the room neatly and asked them to change the air-conditioners which were seems to be very old and not in good condition.
