Overall, our stay at the hotel was good, though there were a few areas that could be improved. The rooms were clean and well-maintained each day, and the cleaning staff was incredibly helpful — always ready to provide bottled water whenever we needed it. The front desk and service staff were generally friendly and welcoming. Free parking was also a plus, located conveniently close to the hotel.
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's proximity to the Richmond Night Market, which became one of the highlights of our trip. It was a fantastic bonus we hadn’t planned for, and it really added to the experience.
That said, the check-in process was a bit frustrating. We were informed at the desk that there would be a 2% fee for all credit card transactions on the property, and an unexpected $70 service charge per room for the 4-night stay — charges we thought were already covered through our Expedia booking. It would have been helpful if these costs had been made clear beforehand.
The on-site casino was a fun entertainment option, though the gym was quite small and limited in equipment.
All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a few unexpected perks, like the night market nearby — but clearer communication around fees would have made the experience even better.
