It’s a calm and genuine place with a very welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived and mentioned we wanted to go for a swim but had no food with us, the host kindly made sandwiches for us to take to the lake — such a thoughtful gesture! The walk down to the water was lovely, and we had a wonderful afternoon there. Dinner in the evening was...

Top Våmhus Hotel Reviews

Hotell Fridhemsgatan

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice cozy hotel. Great staff. Room and bathroom very well laid out. Great location. I would return here."

Hotel Bishops Arms Mora

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was spotless and very quiet. Convenient parking underground. In walking distance of shops and restaurants. We went to the restaurant within the hotel that served great food and excellent service by a young Irish lad. they are adjacent to an art gallery right on site. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a fabulous place to stay."

Orsa Järnvägshotell

8/10 Good

"The hotel per se has kept Its unique, original design from the early 20-th century. Hiwever, it has been refurbished and the overall amenities are fine. At a Late afternoon check in, there was no front staff and we used a code that had been tranamitted in advance. The breakfast was great. The surroundings are rather sad."
