"This is a fantastic place to stay, the owner is really friendly and can't do enough for you. We are veggies and he happily cooked us omelette and chips with the best salad we've ever had. The Ice cream puddings were delicious and the wine too. Fabulous Rooms, a gorgeous quirky building and a lovely lounge to sprawl in, with netflix if you wanted it on a big screen - we happily retired to the sofa without TV though. "Despite having the address and a GPS/Sat Nav to find this property it is very badly signposted and it was more luck than anything that we stumbled upon it. The house/hostal is behind a high wall and it was very difficult to gain entry (no answer to rings or phone calls). It was quite full the night we were there but fortunately they did offer dinner (the village has nothing in it) although it was somewhat chaotic with us eating in the kitchen. "I booked based on price and Expedia guest reviews. Upon arrival I looked at Google Maps to see check-in time since I was early, but when I saw VERY negative guest reviews there I was very concerned and had I seen them I would not have booked here. With apprehension I entered and requested early check-in. I was greeted and my request accommodated. There was strong chemical odor that dissipated after opening my windows, but other than that the room was clean and very nice. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. No English at all, but I'm in Spain so IMHO the language issue is on me. Great location. I extended 2 additional days. Great value. Will stay again. "
