The entire first floor is set up as pet rooms, so if you are older, and tired, you either have to stay in a pet room, or take all your gear up a flight of stairs with torn carpeting which was a tripping hazard. Otherwise the room was fine. No breakfast although it said breakfast was included when we originally booked

Travelodge McBride is our "go-to" stop transiting from Calgary to Prince Rupert. Prices are always excellent, pet rooms available for only $15 extra with tons of parking for vehicles with trailers and motorhomes. The staff/owners are so friendly and have renovated the rooms. Everything you need: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, satellite TV, blow dryer and those wonderful end table lamps with the plugs for gadgets! Breakfast starts 6:30am and is basic but has plenty of choices. Superb value for the money!
