"Description of property very misleading. We understood that we were sharing the accommodation with possibly another person in the single section. It was in fact the owners home and we shared the facilities with her and her family. Not for us , we ate in the very small bedroom where the drawers and the wardrobe were full of the owner’s possessions, socks jumpers suitcases etc. not much space for our stuff. "This is essentially a commercial hotel attached to a transport restaurant. Five star luxury it is not but my wife and I loved it. The room was clean, well decorated and stylish. The shower worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife felt a little out of place amongst all the lorry drivers but they were all very nice and one very large one carried both of my suitcase up stairs for me. Wonderful when you are 80. Breakfast was served outside. It was lovely. It is in a small, very French, town and the parking is easy. 24 hr access with a door code. Nothing to complain about at all."

"This is the best place that I have ever stayed in. It’s truly magnificent. Historic, luxurious, serene and romantic. The staff were impeccable. The food was stunning. The grounds and amenities are second to none. Get a room in the main chateau if you can, they are absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough great things about this property."

"This hotel is lovely. It was clean throughout, the pool was open and available, parking outside at the front was plentiful and the flower troughs along the front were beautiful. Communication with Stephane was easy and he offered to allow us access before 6pm, which we didn’t take advantage of in the end. His phone number is clearly visible on the front door if the hotel is unmanned. The food in the restaurant was top quality and the service was excellent. We would have no reservation in recommending this hotel to others."
