"I believe at one point, some time ago, this was a 4 star “resort”. Not anymore. Our A/C did not work and they could not fix it while we were there. No real bar area and would have to give them a period of time to use the spa (to heat things up). Staff was friendly and did what they could. "

"The property was fantastic. Located right in the middle of everything you would want or need to do in Florence. The breakfast was worth the price if not for conscience, but also for quality. The fruits and pastries were fresh and amazing, their honest attempt at American breakfast was very good and very appreciated. Everything was exactly as I hoped for. The Jr. Suite with the terrace was amazing. Best hotel I have stayed at in Europe!"

"This is a very cool hotel and we enjoyed our time in Florence. The only thing is there was no air conditioning. It worked for a few hours but then only blew hot air. We did not try to reach customer service about the issue but I’m sure they would have helped if we did. I read there were A/C regulations that did not allow for it to be turned on until April 15th, so I didn’t bother to ask about it. We did open the window but there was so much noise outside that it wasn’t a feasible solution since...
