Great appartment. Poor communications.

Modern, clean and spacious. Well located for sightseeing including boat trips ex harbour. Shops and cambio just around the corner. However, check-in instructions including code to access the building were sent too late so we had to stand around in the street and then waste money on data for whatsapp to get in.

no one answers the phone at Ushuaia Center

The stay was fine once we were able to get into our room. The first night of our 5 night stay we were not able to check in. Turns out there is no front desk or anybody in the building to check people in. We could not get in and the phone number they have listed on Hotels.com goes straight to voicemail. Left several measages that night and nobody reaponded. Called Hotels.com for help and even they could t reach anybody at the Ushuaia Center hotel. We had to spend that night at another hotel and pay for it. Now neither Ushuaia Center nor Hotels.com accept any responsibility and we have not been able to get a refund for that night. It has been a stressful experience we will never forget.
