"Loved the location. In walking distance and the water taxi if running is just outside the hotel. Unfortunately, when I went the first it wasn’t running, found out it was due to weather 103 degrees. Extreme heat caused a lot of things to shut down. What didn’t work out so well was on arrival when we checked in our room must have had some work being done on it. "Well maintained property. Staff was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and decent. The downside was the refrigerator wasn’t working properly, our room was not vacuumed during our 5 day stay and weren’t made aware the option to have a microwave for the stay for an additional $10."

"We came into town overnight to go to a ballgame. The property was clean and inviting. The front desk staff were awesome and helpful at check in. The room was very clean and plenty of room for my son and I. The bedding and sheets were very comfortable. Only minor thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the shower. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The surrounding area around the hotel felt safe though I didn’t walk around in the neighborhood….. I really felt like the hotel...

"We've stayed at Ulysses several times over the years. For the first time we experienced a room without central AC. Our room had a small window unit that was not nearly adequate to keep the room cool during the 100º weather. Sleep was difficult. In the future, in the heat of the summer, I may plan to stay elsewhere."

We were looking for a unique or upscale hotel stay, but the property felt more like a budget short-term rental. The surrounding neighborhood did not match our expectations and did not feel comfortable to us. 2. Parking was inconvenient. Street parking has time restrictions, and we were not comfortable leaving our car...

"Let early check in be an option. I called around 1 and she said it was too early to check in without asking my name to see if my reserved room was actually available. Instead we checked in at 4 with a packed lobby and an hour wait which was a huge waste of time. Room also smelled like smoke."
