"Nice hotel with a helpful staff. But we had a few issues. The bathroom was clean but the glasses were quite dirty.The only bathroom amenities are shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was no phone in the room so have your cell phone handy to call the desk. Room service was unavailable due to a lack of staff and not every option on the restaurant menu available. We also lost television service for a time during the world cup. Luckily there was a sports bar down the street. The location is great with many shops and restaurants nearby. It is also convenient to any sights you may want to see. I give the desk staff 5 stars. They are very friendly and helpful."

"I am going to quote my trip diary: Home Hotel Uppsala - 1 night. Lovely hotel and my worries about my inappropriate attire were not realized because there were a lot of tourists, many my age, dressed casually. There are the typical European bathroom fixtures and also the same card method that requires insertion in a slot to use for the lights and elevators. Wonderful bed and blackout curtains enabled me to have my first good night’s rest during these long midsomer nights. Places to tour and shops and restaurants are within an easy walking distance. Also, we were able to get limited parking onsite. The breakfasts, afternoon fikas (coffee breaks), and dinners in the hotel restaurant are included in the price and are authentically Swedish and delicious."

"Absolutely Excellent!!! I’ve traveled the world, and this hotel was highly satisfying in value for money. Very pleasant breakfast room with an outstanding choice of buffet; great area to work in the lobby with free coffee and teas; extremely kind and helpful staff, great location steps away from the central station & food store & walking shopping street & canal. Room I chose was small yet exactly as described and good value for money. Ironing room with steamer. Luggage storing facility. Bright and tasteful. Very very satisfied, Thank you!!"
