"We were greeted by Barbara several hours before the official check-in and were allowed to store our lugage in the room. Our room appeared newly renovated with a really nice ambience (room 1 at the Ground Level). The kitchenette was Well equipped and the bathroom were great as Well. We ordered breakfast to be delivered next morning. And what a treat! Bled breakfast delivered a basket with loads of local specialities like yoghurt, cheese, saugases and bread - the best breakfast we have ever had....

Rikli Balance Hotel - Sava Hotels & Resorts

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was really nicely designed and furnished. It had a lovely smell as you entered reception. The spa was good but you do have to pay extra for the saunas/steam rooms. The room was a nice size with a lovely Nordic wooden decoration. The bathroom was nice and functional with a modern walk in shower. Breakfast had a good selection of cooked and buffet foods along with fruits, yogurts & pastries."

"The staff was incredibly helpful & friendly! The breakfast was delicious. The location is fantastic/- right in the middle of the town, with easy access to the lake, mini golf, alpine slide, gelato, etc, and our room was quiet. The pool is in an enclosed space, wilhich was very warm on the sunny, hot June days we were there, but guests have access to the pool at the sister hotel, Hotel Kompas, next door which has a covered but better ventilated pool & hot tub, grassy area with umbrellas and lounge chairs, and bar service. We would happily stay again at Hotel Lovec!"

Vila Alpina

"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"There's no question the location is absolutely stunning on the shores of lake bled. Directly looking across at the castle. Absolutely amazing views. The property itself is very old. The buffet side of the breakfast has plenty of fruit and pastries. They imply like you could order something except for all of the wait staff completely avoids you. The interactions at the restaurant were the same you see people there so you know they're not doing anything but almost impossible to flag anybody down or get them to come to the table"

Triglav Bled

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay at Triglav Bled. The old hotel is beautiful and has a commanding view of Lake Bled. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was really good. The room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. It was a great experience! Two things to be aware of though: 1) To get to Lake Bled is a bit of a hike down (and then back up) a fairly steep path, so if you are not in decent shape that could be an issue. 2) There is no food at the hotel after lunch time. The restaurant is closed for dinner, and the option is to drive to Bled to find a restaurant. Neither of these was an issue for us but worth mentioning. I will definitely stay at Triglav Bled if I visit again!"
