"A perfectly fine hotel for the price. Has some nice quirks and style which make it much more interesting than a mediocre chain hotel with better amenities. The location is pretty perfect for foot travel across the city. The breakfast is nice. The staff is lovely. The rooms are tiny. The shower is tiiiiiny. I would still return happily!!"

"Good: The hotel was clean and conveniently located near Viktualienmart and Marienplatz. There is a U-Bahn station and tram stop on the same block, which is convenient. There is a cafe / bar upon entry. The cost / night seemed much cheaper than other hotels. It seemed safe. Bad: The room was tiny! We were supposed to have a king bed, but I don’t know if king means something different in Germany or if we just got a double bed instead. The only blanket on the bed wasn’t even as big as the bed, so...

"The room was nice and the staff was very helpful. The location was great, it was very centrally located. That being said some time it was a little loud outside especially with the window open, but that is to be expected, I wasn’t really bothered. It seems I missed that there was no a/c, thankfully it wasn’t too bad, the room cooled down at night with the window open."

"There is virtually no lobby, no breakfast at property. Looks like low cost housing but rooms are ok. Bare minimum. Front desk not staffed 24/7 and actually closed holidays. Not a real hotel. Expensive for what you get. Good location but noisy area - across from casino. Hotel itself very quiet. Homeless people around. Felt safe but definitely not luxury property. "

The location is excellent—within walking distance of many of Munich's top attractions, as well as numerous great restaurants, and cafés. One of the biggest advantages is the convenient access to public transportation. "Location was perfect for walking and using Sbahn. Staff were very pleasant, and we were able to check in early upon arrival. There is a big construction project which is quite noisy during the day. Overall I would stay here again. Oh and don’t miss eating at the Italian restaurant right next to Maximillian, delicious"
