"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."

"Really wonderful welcoming stay. The room was a bit musty smelling, and there were ants, but this was overshadowed by the managers hospitality. He really went the extra mile - even going to get beers for us as the shops were a bit far away :)"

"Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!"

"basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. "The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."
