This is one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at! Friendly check in and spotless room. The bed was very comfortable, room has a nice layout and I really appreciated the washer/dryer! The bench outside of room was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine at the end of my day.

feels new, clean and spacious. thoughtfully equipped with amenities for travelers. really nice front desk staff. good location. just a short stroll to grocery nearby. only wish the washer and dryer are separate units. the combo ones never dry well.

Perfect, don’t bother looking anywhere else. The rooms are spacious & brand new. They have a kitchen, washing machine & dishwasher. The beds are comfortable, everything is exceptionally clean and the luxury of drinking a filter coffee whilst doing the washing was bliss. The owners are wonderful and kindly gave us an airer to dry our washing which I prefer to use instead of the dryer. I had a wonderful time and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Free parking too. Thank you for such an amazing stay.

Everything at this place is like brand new. Super clean. The place was equipped with everything we needed. No pool. Or hot tub, but a great place to stay if on the road. We really could have used some luggage racks for suitcases and there is only a loveseat in living area not a full size couch for relaxing. But would still reccomend.

This was a great place to stay! A quiet property in a quiet town close to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo that was very clean, comfortable, and had EVERYTHING we needed. A high recommendation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alps motel. Comfortable, modern, and clean facilities located at a walkable distance to the quaint town centre and only a 45-minute drive from Mt Cook Village (super easily accessible). Rob was really helpful at check-in. Would definitely recommend the Alps Motel!

This was fabulous accommodation. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and everything you needed and everything well thought out. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the Mount Cook area or just passing by. The shops are just up the road, everything was a short walk away.
