"The stand out for this hotel is absolutely the location and view. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel does rely on the view for the experience, the breakfast is decent but nothing special and the amenities in the room are lacking ie there’s a kettle but no tea, there’s a full kitchen but nothing in the kitchen, no slippers, having to call reception for a hairdryer which I assume would be a given for a hotel room. Also unfortunately due to the cold nights, the room can be well heated from the fire and heater but the bathroom only has a tiny radiator which makes it very cold in the mornings."

"The reception staff were absolutely brilliant as were staff elsewhere - except for the girls in the restaurant - the patio restaurant. 1st day, we sat outside waiting for the room to be ready - the staff didnt approach us at all to ask if we wanted anything, even though they walked passed us. We eventually had to flag them down. Odd but we ignored it. Next morning my wife went to breakfast and she was completely ignored while others who came later were served! Also she was never told about the specials menu - there should have been a menu on the table as per other tables but this table didnt have it and girls never offered it. So my wife had the buffet when she would have preferred a meal from the menu (particularly the fruit/French toast). On out last day, I sat outside for 1 hour before anyone asked if I wanted anything. Overall not very attentive but dare I say maybe even predudicial. At least thats how it came across. And that's from a hotel that cost 550 US per night. Shame as the rest was good."

"Incredible facilities and location. The villas were pristine, roomy and comfortable. The location between vineyards and man made lakes make it unique. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help on any need we had. We would only return to The Vines when visiting Mendoza. One comment. It is 1:40 hrs away from the airport"
