"Amazing, specially prepared gourmet breakfasts by the host. Very fun to sit at breakfast table with other guests. The breakfast is served at 9 am so you can't just grab it and go if you're there for sightseeing. But the food is wonderful! Interesting history behind the house which the host shares. Beautiful rooms."

"We had a great experience, with one exception, which I'll describe later. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I don't know how you train them, but to the person they were gracious caring and friendly. Our standout... TC at the bar. On day 2 of our stay, he recognized us and called out or drinks from the previous. We said we wanted something different, and he created a cocktail for my wife, which she enjoyed thoroughly. We would have had our drinks at the bar upstairs, but it wasn't open. ...

"The property is quaint and charming with a super friendly staff. Breakfast is made to order with a smile. My only critique: my partner and I are both 6 feet tall and we unfortunately booked a room at the top with a downward sloping ceiling at multiple places. My fault for not better reading the description. Now you know. Come and enjoy yourselves. "

"One of my favorite budget places to stay when I am in the area. Centrally located on the Jamestown Main street, negligible drive to Chicken Ranch, very easy to make the quick jaunt to Sonora or over to Black Oak. Facilities are starting to show their age and the satellite TV has been spotty the last few visits; but the staff has always been wonderful and accommodating each time I've stayed and I've never had any issues with room cleanliness or sanitiziation."
