R2 Bahía Playa Design Hotel & Spa Wellness - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely experience at the R2 hotel.
There was always space around the pool and it never felt overcrowded, having 2 meant there was a quieter space if you weren't interested in music or activities through the day.
I was unwell during my stay and the hotel staff were super helpful in contacting a doctor for me, they couldn't have been more helpful.
My only note would be that there isn't much around the hotel, if you're looking to explore on-foot at all - not an issue, but worth knowing if you were looking for something to do outside the hotel."
"Room very spacious comfty bed nice beach view large balcony. Big plus for kitchen amenities like fridge. Lovely staff and hotel situated at beautiful place."
"Excellent location in the Jandia peninsula and a short walk from the beach (be prepared for a steep uphill walk back). I was mostly out during the day exploring the island. With a car, this was a very good base for some beautiful beaches, both on the east and west coasts. The hotel provides covered parking for a fee, or there is free parking on the main road outside the hotel.
Pool was good with plenty of sun beds - although I went in September and can imagine this gets crowded in the summer holidays. I didn’t use the bars so can’t comment on that, but the buffet restaurant has enough variety and is of good quality (within all-inclusive expected standards). Again, it does get busy so I can see the summer months being a different experience. There are snacks (salads, burgers and pizzas) poolside too - again I didn’t really use this but good to tide you over between lunch and dinner if need be.
I would stay at this hotel again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family."
"Very nice complex it is basic but fantastic value for money to what is offered elsewhere in calleta, my only criticism is no fans in the room however the reception did purchase one newly for me and I was extremely grateful. Will stay again."
"Very clean rooms
Food where good - But much the same.
But they can not make drinks in the bar.
It is a self catering All inclusive Hotel. So there are lack of service according to other hotel.
Empty beer glass everywhere.
But all in all good hotel and vacation
