"I was traveling with my dog. Part of the reason I went with this place was that they advertised dog friendly rooms were on the ground floor. Really nice when you’re hauling dog stuff into a room, while the dog is on leash of course, plus hauling your bags. Instead I had a second floor with multiple stair risers because of the slope the property is on. So that was a bummer. However it was a clean room, nice for a person (and yes I’ve been put in rooms for dogs that were one step aboa kennel at other properties so this was fine)."

"This is an historic hotel celebrating 100 years this year. It is centrally located on Main Street so it is a perfect location for shopping and dining. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but to be expected with the age of the hotel. The best part of this stay is there is secure, free parking behind the hotel and it is literally only a one block walk to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) theaters. We stay here regularly when we attend OSF."

"The breakfast room had some issues. I saw 3 different customers struggle with the waffle maker. Maybe the coating is worn out, because they all had to scrape the waffle out of the maker. The milk carafe was empty, so I had to get a cartonof milk out of the fridge. And the coffee machine was a bust unless you like your coffee like slightly colored water. The staff was great, and we’ll stay there again."
