Bifora Heritage Hotel

"We absolutely loved our stay at Bifora Heritage Hotel. The property itself is beautiful and has so much character. We stayed in what used to be the library, and the room was gorgeous, with beautiful stone walls that gave it a real historic feel while still having an updated, clean and spacious bathroom. What really stood out to us was how welcoming and thoughtful the staff were. The owner actually met us when our Uber arrived and helped carry our bags inside, which was such a nice first impression. We also had an extremely early flight the morning we left, with our Uber picking us up around 5am. Even at that hour, reception was up and had fresh croissants and coffee waiting for us before we left. Those little touches made a huge impression on us. There is also a Michelin Guide restaurant located within the property, which is a pretty unique feature for a small heritage hotel. Overall, Bifora was one of our favourite stays in Croatia. It’s a beautiful property, but it was the genuine hospitality and personal touches that really made the experience memorable. We would absolutely stay here again."

"The host was very welcoming and gave us be prolonged use of the carpark so we could explore Trogir beyond check out time. The apartment was modern and wonderfully equipped and the location was close to perfect, being no more than a 10 minute walk from the old town but away from all the noise and bustle of the centre itself and the main road out of Split and Trogir. Easy 10 minute drive from airport but be alert for the final turn. (There is a sign telling you to turn right but we didn’t see it until we were on top of it, and there is a sign for a similar sounding hotel 50 yards before it. If you reach the big hyper market you have missed the turning!) Very impressed that washing up liquid and coffee were supplied. For what it is, a modern fully equipped apartment close to the centre, it couldn’t be bettered."

"We loved our very special room with a sauna nice bed all very clean. It was near all and across the river down the walk was a nice clean beach. Do bring beach shoes to swim in Croatia because of the rocks."

"Hospitable staff. Helpful. We traveled in mid September. It’s 80°F outside and the pool was very cold. There is no hot tub, at least not on property. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The restaurant had good food. Very limited wine selection by the glass. The breakfast was good. All landing airplanes fly directly overhead but a white noise app canceled most noise. The property is on a busy road and it’s loud during busy times; especially the restaurant which is 10’ from the road."

"Incredible location in the old town of Trogir Croatia. Not directly accessible by car, but it’s only about a three minute walk to roadside pick up my Uber or taxi. I don’t think this was clearly conveyed in the property description. For somebody trying to roll a heavy bag this may be difficult on the cobblestone streets. The description also said it was beachfront where It is nowhere near a beach. Lastly, I am 6 foot four and the bed was too short for me. With a sharp edged footboard it was uncomfortable, luckily only there one night post cruise before flying home, fine for my wife."
