There was limited transportation in the area and it seemed like a spot that didn’t have much going on since they were off season. "Beautiful views, amazing gardens, fabulous pool and friendly staff. Good location between the beach and the town - walk down to the cable car to avoid the steps up to town. "The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site. There is a lovely view of Mount Etna when we opened the shutters in the morning. The pool is very inviting and there are plenty of sun loungers."

"We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere. We arrived late in the day after missing a flight. They had a concierge outside waiting to meet us and valet our car. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and shown to our beautiful room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The pool area was gorgeous and the sun loungers were comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was lovely. Breakfast had a generous spread. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. We would return here again and again. You will love your stay!"
