"Good quiet location a few minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was clean and spacious but very scuffed around the edges. The bed was really hard and, as I have a lower back problem, I didn't get much sleep. The coffee and croissants each morning were an added bonus. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but one person was a bit surly. Car parking was £15 per night, not overly expensive, but most of the spaces were very tight to get into. Overall a reasonable place to stay."

"No check in information received, when I contacted the host was told ‘it’s not hard it’s left unlocked’ during our stay the host walked past us several times to feed the llamas head down, didn’t even say hello, text to ask how to use the gas fire during our stay and no response, was made to feel very unwelcome. "Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin.
