"The room said King bed - it was a Queen and the bedroom was so small a King would not have fit. The other furniture was massive and had no drawers or cabinets for clothing so that was useless. "The manager of the restaurant was a cool guy. I wanted something to eat, it was quite late, and he accommodated me nicely. I remember I had a Wiener schnitzel thing with potatoes, salad and a beer. Most satisfying. I appreciated his service and tipped him for going out of his way. It was cold in the room, and the staff said it was impossible to switch off the air conditioner. "A very good option if you are looking for privacy while staying close to civilization - 15 minutes to the city by car. Lots of cycling/hiking opportunities. Rooms are spacious and clean, however mosquito nets would have been nice on the windows. if you open the window, all kinds of forest insects will immediately visit you. Some facilities in the territory did not work, but I think this is due to the situation in the country. Overall recommended to visit"

"I booked, and paid for a suite at the Amstelski through Expedia. When I arrived, I was told they had no rooms left, and that they had put me into a standard room at a hotel next door. Whilst the room was adequate, I hate small rooms, and the room I stayed in was half the price of what I booked. Expedia have refused to refund the difference. After several hundred stays through Expedia, the 4th at this property, there won't be any more with either. "
