Great staff and a wonderful base to use for visiting the Amalfi coast. Aurelio Maria and Alfred made us feel like we were home. They were the kindest and nicest hosts you could imagine. Breakfasts and dinner were super and used produce from the farm all of which was really good. 4 days flew by we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to all

This is a beautiful winery in the hills of Tramonti. Maria and Alfredo Basileo are very friendly and provide great service and meals. The apartment was spacious with a nice bathtub/ shower. The scenery and vineyard are stunning. They grow most of their own food and almost everything is locally sourced. Try Alfredo's homemade preserves and limoncello!

The perfect place in the Italian countryside!

Agriturismo Mare e Monti was amazing! This has been the best stay of our Italy trip. The family that runs and owns the farm welcomed us as if we were family. Mom is an exceptional cook and every meal was scrumptious. The food is cooked with fresh ingredients, including fresh eggs, and anything not grown on the farm is sourced locally. Oh! And did I mention the cooking lessons? Fresh home-made pasta-yum! Given that the farm is located in the mountains near the Amalfi coast, it’s a peaceful and quiet area. The room assigned to us was very comfortable and spacious with a large tub in the bathroom. The wine is delicious - the family has been making their own wine for five generations. If you’re looking to get to know how it feels to be in the country with locals, but close enough to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello, this is the perfect place for you! We’ll definitely be returning!

The hosts were absolutely accommodating in every way. This was our best stay. We had a whole house for three of us and the price was the cheapest. It was a long drive on narrow curvy roads, but we thought that was part of the charm. This stay was such a delight.

Lovely accomodation

Lovely location. We really enjoyed our stay. Alfredo and his family were very welcome and they told us tips for our stay. Like where to park the car on the city or which route to take, what to visit. Deliciouse food as most ingredients are from their garden. The place was clean and towels were changed regulary. Highly recommend this accomodation.

Wij hebben genoten van de rust en ruimte van het verblijf en de omgeving. Elke ochtend werd er gevraagd wat wij bij het ontbijt wilden hebben(omeletten, ander ei, prociutto etc) Er was een heerlijke proeverij (wijnen gingen snel en volle glazen) zoon is enthousiast met zijn uitleg en van 7 tot 22 uur kon je pasta of antipasti bestellen dat door de moeder gemaakt werd. Vader was ook altijd bereikbaar een aanrader als je voor rust en wijn komt

Familievenligt ophold

Vores familie (bedsteforældre, børn og 2 børnebørn på et år) boede en uge på dette dejlige sted. Om dagen kørte vi ture langs den smukke Amalfi kyst og besøgte blandt andet Pompei. Om aftenen spiste vi Marias dejlige aftensmad og drak Alfredos skønne vin. Maria, Alfredo og deres søn var fantastisk gæstfrie og hele familien havde et skønt ophold.

Gastvrij eenvoudig verblijf met centrale ligging

Wijnboerderij gerund door vader Alfredo, moeder Maria en zoon Aurelio. Alfredo zit boordevol informatie over streek en veel meer... Moeder kookt heerlijk met producten uit eigen tuin en geeft kookworkshops. Aurelio geeft 'winetours'. Ontbijt is eenvoudig: koffie/thee, cake, biscottes, boter, jam, ei en evt. brood (wat bijna nooit vers is). Het appartement waar wij verbleven was eenvoudig. Er waren voldoende handdoeken, maar helaas geen starterspakketje met bijv. sponsje om af te wassen. Veel geluid door bovenburen. Het algemene terras ligt voornamelijk noordelijk en er is veel schaduw. Er zijn geen gemakkelijke stoelen om buiten de zitten. In tegenstelling tot de meeste gasten bleven wij twee weken. Goede service was de extra verschoning van de lakens en het verzorgen van het wassen van onze kleding: er is geen wasmachine voor gasten.

Mate e Monti es un lugar único, nos han tratado como parte de la familia. (mi hija le dice Nonita a la dueña del establecimiento) Mate e Monti te entrega una estadía de Amor y Paz diariamente Las habitaciones amplias y limpias con una vista única a los viñedos de la familia Vacaciones únicas ofrece Mare e Monto Gracias Nonita!!!!!!

Un vero agriturismo tradizionale

Ho soggiornato in questo agriturismo con mio marito ed un bimbo di 3 anni. La struttura è semplice ma ha tutto quello che si può desiderare. Mi sono trovata benissimo. Il personale e’ estremamente accogliente e gentile. Ti fanno sentire a casa, sembra di far parte della loro famiglia. Hanno addirittura accompagnato mio figlio nel pollaio delle galline. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, ineccepibile e la colazione “come a casa”, con marmellata fatta dalla signora Maria. Per due sere, senza preavviso siamo arrivati da Alfredo e Maria e abbiamo chiesto se era possibile avere un piatto di pasta e senza esitare ci hanno servito, e che prelibatezze!!!! La posizione....e’ vero che si trova lontano (solo 10 minuti in realta) dal mare ma ho trovato questo particolare Un pregio. Fuori dal caos della costiera, si vive In un paradiso. Non posso che consigliare questo agriturismo soprattutto a chi a figli.

Relax e tranquillità.

I proprietari sono gente molto affabile, cortesi, discreti e disponibili. La camera avuta era ben esposta sulla valle, spaziosa e comoda. Un buon soggiorno. Ottimo per coloro, come noi, che non amano la confusione e la calca della costiera. Ottima e gustosa la cucina.

in the middle of the vineyards surrounded by flowers, figs, apple trees, kiwis, lemon trees lovely and authentic area, we enjoyed a lot the delicious kitchen of Maria and the homemade limoncello of Alfredo, wine excellent without headache next morning, received helpful tips from the owners for our day trips to Amalfi coast

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung mit Menschen die Ihre Arbeit lieben. Vielen Dank an Maria für das wunderbare Essen und vielen Dank für den guten Wein die nette Betreuung . Ein absoluter Geheimtip wenn man keine Angst vor Serpentinen hat:-) . Alle waren begeistert . Nachts ist man nur über das Hundegebell etwas irritiert aber das ist uns in allen Bergdörfern aufgefallen.
