The hotel was right across from the Tram. 5 minute walk into town. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Home away from home!

Great location, excellent service, friendly people! One advice is to keep a min-fridge in each room that could keep your water, juices, milk, yoghurt, foods, etc. at comfortable temperatures in extreme weather conditions.

Comfortable hotel in a great location

Great location, right on the river and at the top of the main shopping street, close to the square with restaurants & bars and a short walk to the cathedral. Room was very modern, clean and comfortable as was the hotel. Beside a tram stop so convenient for the airport and exploring Tours

Overall wonderful! I have stayed many months at this hotel. Excellent location, comfortable rooms, and a truly caring team always ready to assist you. Warm and welcoming lobby area decorated with festive holiday decorations.

The Hampton by Hilton is in an excellent walkable location. The staff (in particular, Antoine) was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great! Only complaint - the air conditioning wasn’t working so it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Antoine was able to provide a fan which helped immensely.

Nice location in the middle of Tours, next to the main shopping street and the old town. Other attractions, like the cathedral, are in walking distance. Note: You can't stop in front of the hotel to unload. There is a parking facility next to the hotel but is not part of the hotel.

we stayed at the hilton for 3 nights. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The big letdown was the air conditioning was broken for the hole stay. No open window in room. Slept terrible and would not be choosing a hilton hotel again.

This property is adjacent to the large pedestrian street that the tram runs along. There are a lot of shops and brasseries. The hotel itself doesn't have parking but there is a public parking garage right in front of it that can accommodate your car overnight for about 12euro. It is not far from the old town and everything is very walkable. The only negative I would say is that the hallways seemed to have had the smell of the burger restaurant which is adjacent/under the hotel. Grateful that the smell stayed in the hall and didn't permeate the room. Overall we would stay here again.

Check on A/C status during summer

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with a private (independent) parking garage located directly under it. The rooms were clean & comfortable, and the breakfast was great. My *only* issue was that the A/C was not working for the whole building when we checked in. We had opted to pay at the property, and it was a really warm day…and the hotel rooms have full length glass windows with no ventilation…so the rooms were really, really hot. The woman checking us in did not say a word about it. Once we got to our rooms & realized how unbearable my mother’s room was, we called the front desk & were only told then that the AC was broken, and would not be fixed that night, and no refund was possible. Our room was on the other side of the building & was slightly cooler. We did ask that my mom be switched to an empty room on the other side of the building for the slight temperature advantage, and that was accommodated. Nevertheless, the person checking us in should have been upfront about the situation, because we would have switched to their sister hotel directly across the street. Taking our payment & then promptly refusing to refund, when you are aware that this was a problem does not reflect well on the hotel. Looking through reviews in this hotel, it looks like a repeat concern.
