The hotel itself is nice, large family room, clean except: - ANTS, and we talked with front desk repeatedly - the all inclusive supper does not include WATER / flat or sparkling so how is this an all inclusive meal. - no coffee machine in room and breakfast opened late - they expect you to keep the beach towel during your stay or pay for wash but we had no balcony to dry the towels! wil not return, the Melia chain would know better but service declining in Caribbean resorts as well

The Hotel was very clean, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, great choice at breakfast and the food was always hot. The location is on the beach with plenty of places to eat around the hotel. There's a plug point in the bathroom, but a plug near a mirror in the bedrooms would be helpful.

Nice standard 4 star property. Large and comfortable- nice and pleasant staff. Easy access to the beachfront . Poolwas busy with families and usual suspects hogging the sunbeds by placing towels in the morning. Safe bet for a stay in Torremelinos.

Great hotel, nice rooms. Breakfast good, the only gripe I could have is the wait for the lifts, this can be ten minutes at times. Other than that, great place to stop

The location is a few steps from the beach. The hotel is huge and very popular. We had a full board reservation. The food was good, we really loved the corner with the chef who cooked freshly meat or fish at every meal. The room was ok, with a queen bed. Just we didn't like that we asked for all inclusive option, but the policy said you need to spend at least five nights with them and we only had 3 nights.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay here has been completely overshadowed by a constant, loud mechanical noise (like an engine or AC plant/room) that makes it impossible to relax or sleep properly. ( and I mean the whole night, every 120 seconds you could feel the vibration of whatever that is making the noise. When I raised this with the staff, I was simply told there’s nothing they could do about it. 2 days later after I email them directly they offered me a room, next door literally! For a hotel that positions itself as a place of rest and comfort, this is unacceptable. Noise this disruptive should be addressed seriously, not brushed aside. Sadly, instead of a restful stay, I’ve left more exhausted than when I arrived The staff, restaurant and such were really good! I hope the hotel management do something about that as I am sure I am not the first one bringing this up and for future guests. I stayed at room 1235

Loved the property… felt very comfortable and safe. The breakfast service was excellent. I did feel that some areas needed a little tweaking like bar service and food service around the pool. It was very slow. The entertainment , although good, needs to be brought up to another level for a 4 star hotel.

Nice little hotel

Lovely hotel (the pictures on the website doesn’t really do it justice) but the bathrooms in particular are very dated and not user friendly. The terrace has an annoying ledge which is really difficult to see and we all kept on stubbing our toes on it and were worried about our toddler hurting herself. Little improvements that would make a big difference such as having water in the gym. Kids club was good and entertainers very friendly.

Part of a group of 3 hotels, next to each other Great to be able to wander into all 3 and use the facilities in them all. We stayed half board for one week in early September at Don Pablo. They have a separate gluten free menu, and were very accommodating of our extra allergies. One of our party uses a wheelchair. Getting around the hotel wasn’t a problem, but we did have problems accessing some of the swimming pools. The sunbeds around the main pool are on different levels, mostly they are not accessible to wheelchair users, and the area that was accessible had so many sunbeds packed in that getting past them at the end of the ramp was almost impossible. This did spoil the holiday for us, and because of this, I’m not sure if we would return.

Took forever to check in.

When checking in, I had to wait 40 minutes due to the hotel didnt have enough staff to handle the checking counter. My plan was to visit the spa before it closed, bbut was not able to because of this. When checking out I had to wait 15 minutes. The termostat/air con in the room did not work. I woke up to 26 degrees. I booked this hotel to have a relaxing stay, but the only thing that was relaxing was the bed. Also I enjoyed the food in the restaurant.

A very nice winter break with just one hiccup

I went on holiday with my 2 teenage daughters to this hotel in a triple room. Out of season it was really quiet until the Valentines night when I didn't get any sleep all night because a group of people had an all night party in the room and on the balcony next door and trashed their room. I did explain at reception the next day and asked for a change of room for the remainder of our stay but when she looked it up she assured me they were checking out - which they did. It was a shame as that day was ruined because I had a banging headache due to sleep deprivation. The dining staff were fabulous as were all the bar staff. Plenty of choice for dinner and breakfast and they accommodated my gluten free diet. Entertainment was great and the female pool lifeguard was very good.
