"Rooms are really nice, the size of the bathroom and the bedroom are spacious and ceiling are high, which makes the room feel spacious. The bathrooms are clean The toilets are nice. Location is in a pretty nice area. The location is in it safe area. If you’re looking for staff and hospitality, this isn’t a place however, if you’re looking for a good place to stay at overnight and you’re not too picky with all of the other bells and whistles, the price for the room is a steal."

"This property has a lot going for it, and I want to give credit where it’s due. The room itself was super clean and well maintained, and that level of care clearly extends to the entire property. "I'm not faulting the hotel since it's due to location, but just know the surrounding residents are not in their best phase of life. The staff is really kind. Check-in was easy. Location is convenient for whichever part of LA County you need to hit. There are many arterial streets in this area of town. The room is equipped with essentials and remodeled well. The only gripe I had is with the mild odor. It's tolerable, but you can tell the "old" smells of the building are trying to fight...

"My stay was ok. When I got to my room my TV didn't work but the front desk attendant was able to fix it. The mini bar lights up which is annoying when trying to sleep. I couldn't figure how to turn it off and ended up putting a blanket over it. It also made a noise that was distruptive to my sleep. It was a fine hotel but there are better in the area."

"Breakfast was good. Nothing impressive, but good and enough to start the day. The staff was helpful. Linens were not very clean, and the furniture was worn out and dirty. There doesn’t seem to be enough parking spaces either - on one night I chose to take Uber because I got a feeling that I would lose my spot, and in fact, when I returned, not a single spot available close to my room. "Fantastic location - right on the beach and that cannot be beaten. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. We received a room upgrade which was great. The only negative I can say is that the property needs some $ spent on maintenance - a few things are broken and need repair - it didn’t affect our stay but if fixed would bring this unique vintage property to a 5 star all around. "
