Great location. Lots of space in the apartment with all the essentials. Place could use a really good scrub down and cleaning. Would be good to include wash cloths for bathroom and dishcloth for kitchen as well as hand wash soap, otherwise good basic kitchen appliances and utensils. Check in could be more clear and easier.

Was a great space! Was so nice to have more than a hotel room, and feel on top of each other. Had plenty of space, amazing to have two washrooms. Great view, secure! Can't wait to go back. Def worth the price in the off season. Amazing location!

Communication - horrible. This place has had NO TLC for years. The AC did not work and the owners refused to send anyone out to fix it. It was 25 deg. We pulled the filters out of the furnace and noticed that they were so full of dust they hadn't been changed for 3 years! Do not stay here. Stay at a hotel with proper staff.

I really appreciate the host to accommodate me and my son a bit early after an exhausting overnight flight. The room is nicely decorated with beautiful sun shine pouring on the bed. It’s five minutes walk to union subway station and take you everywhere without having to call Uber. The grocery store is also on the other side of the street. All in all, a very pleasant stay and definitely recommend.

Location is the only thing this condo has going for it!
The check in was horrible. The instructions provided were not accurate. If it were not for the security guy in the lobby, I don't think we would have been able to access the elevator.
Now for the elevator situation. The elevators were so busy, at one point we waited for almost 10 minutes for it to come. Way too many people for the amount elevators they have. I feel so sorry for the residents of this condo.
Now for the room.....we found what looked to be dried blood on the living room curtains. The tile in the shower needs to be recaulked. The bed was not comfortable and when your partner moves, so does the whole mattress. You can also hear the matress springs creaking with any movement.
The condo needs updating in order for them to be charging the price we paid.
I would not recommend this condo until they improve the check in process and update the condo.

Location was great, room was clean and comfortable, what we did not enjoy was the check in. The security guard at the desk was annoyed and tried to argue with us, and there were additional check in instructions we were not told about. Once we got it all figured out and on the right elevator, turns out you need the key fob to get to your floor WHICH IS IN THE ROOM. No one said anything about that, so I ended up in total climbing 24 flights of stairs to retrieve the keys and key fob. I have a bad knee and ended up almost passing out in the stairwell. Maybe in the future leave the keys at the desk with security and not in the room ON THE 24TH FLOOR. The room barely had any cold water, and when the cold water did kick in it was hard to get hot water going again. So we were either boiled or frozen. All in all the room was great, beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Check in could just be better.

The location was the highlight of our stay—very convenient and central.
Unfortunately, the condition of the unit was disappointing. The carpets had visible stains, the walls were scuffed and worn, the showers had mold, and the windows appeared not to have been cleaned in quite some time. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, and this was one of the least well-maintained properties we’ve experienced.
The most significant issue, however, was the lack of hot water. We did not have hot water for 2 of the 3 days of our stay, which made it impossible to shower comfortably. We contacted the property manager, Global Stay, and were told they were not aware of the issue and to report it to the front desk concierge. We did so immediately, but the problem was never resolved before we checked out.
After our stay, I contacted Global Stay again to request a partial refund due to the inconvenience, but this request was denied.
While the location is excellent, the condition of the unit and, lack of basic amenities like hot water, and the lack of response from the property manager to issues made this a disappointing experience overall. We would never rent at any property managed by Global Stay ever again.

We were given the wrong code to enter the condo. Took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get in. Called and texted Globalstay. They were unable to help. We had to get an elevator ride to 18th floor and walk down to 16th floor to get faub for our elevator to get into condo. Only one faub and key for 7 people staying in the condo. No wine glasses in unit. The shades on the windows were missing slots so unable to darken the rooms. The power in the unit went out on Saturday at 1 pm. Contacted concierge in building who came to check the breakers which we had already checked. Told us to contact rental company. We called and texted Globalstay. They could not help. We had to leave condo as no power and did not come back on until 8pm. Ran out of toilet paper again contacted Globalstay who could not help. I got a call from condo owner finally this morning. It is his first rental and asked me not to rate our stay. He could not help with anything. I am requesting that either Expedia or Globalstay refund our rental cost. I have booked through Expedia numerous times. This was first condo rental and had a very disappointing stay, The things we had to go through were unacceptable. Please contact me to discuss further. The place is great- 58th floor of downtown high rise apartment building; clean, quiet, roomy, comfortable.
But it is somewhat hard to find so make sure you get link from management company.
The accessibility was HORRIBLE. A day or 2 prior to arrival, we received an email with form attached asking for our details including make/model/color/license plate of the car we’d be arriving in. Because we were flying into Toronto and renting a car, we didn’t have those details so I told them so and sent the form back. No word that day or before our flight. Hmmm. We landed and still mo word so got the car and drove the 45 minutes to the general location of the rental. Still no word and by then getting dark and a bit rainy. Because the place doesn’t have an address posted out front ( there’s a 16 York Street and 18, but no 12. On the back side of the high rise (where G maps and Waze both took us) there is a tight circle drive and unmarked entrances to several buildings, but which is #12?!?! We finally called the number on the listing (3 times); no answe; left messages; no call back. Finally as rush hour traffic got bad and it got darker and rainier, we called Expedia. Long story shorter, we spoke to 3 Expedia reps, all of whom were polite & helpful. One called the owner/manager but got stonewalled, with the guy saying “I never got their form” etc etc and then stopped responding to phone calls from Expedia. They escalated to their “legal” staff who intervened before getting a key

The fobs are left in the rooms. We were unable to access the elevators. I had 2 rooms booked one on the 61st floor and the other on the 37th floor. The property management company’s instructions on check-in stated that once we entered a code to enter the building we would have access to the elevators and there would be no need to involve the concierge. After several attempts we had to contact the concierge who was able t9 give us access to the elevators for 5 minutes. We had to split up to retrieve the fobs from each unit but could not go back and forth between the units as there was only one fob and each unit. Each fob only gave you access on the elevator to the floor that your unit was on and the ground floor.

The apartment did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The check-in process was inconvenient, requiring ID submission via email and a security deposit through PayPal, which took about a week after checkout to be refunded. Additionally, the access instructions provided did not work properly upon arrival. Customer support was limited and slow to respond, and there was no on-site assistance available, which made resolving issues more difficult.

It all started when the company required a $200 deposit. This was problematic as they gave me a website for an invoice which was an invalid URL. I had to contact the company on more than one occasion to straighten this out.
Upon check-in, it was obvious that there was no cold water. This made it even difficult to brush teeth, and a shower was impossible as the water came out at a very high temperature which could not be controlled. To clean myself I needed to fill the bathtub with scolding, hot water and wait a couple hours for it to cool down enough. To resolve this issue I contacted the company twice by email and they did nothing.
