"We stayed four nights in one of the king cabins and had a fantastic stay. The cabin was better than some hotel rooms - had lovely furnishings, air con and the bathroom was superb. The site is also right on the doorstep of the national park. Would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a few nights in the area."

"After hours check in was simple and communicated well. They need to have the reservation and know you will be after 9:00, so let them know by 8:00 if possible. Room was quite clean and the beds were acceptable. Noise wasn't bad after the last truck left town and since we were on the last ferry to arrive in Picton. Will stay again"

"A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ."
