"This hotel is a hidden gem!!! The perfect location to everything. The front desk staff are very accomodating, the property is absolutely spotless. The pools were very refreshing and the roof top area was breathtaking with beautiful views of the bay. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"This pool is world class!! I've never seen a larger rooftop pool with the most epic views. Our room also had an amazing view. We had spectacular sunsets and a firework show every night. "We very much enjoyed the Ancora . The only concern was there is a dog chained up outside next to property and never seen anyone there . His chain was tangled and could barely move for days . We brought it up to the front desk , so hopefully something is being done about it . "

"El lugar está bonito solo que hay detalles que se deben decir para los siguientes viajeros. 1.- no te ofrecen limpieza, ahí tienes que hacer el aseo en tu propia casa y pues si te quita algo de tiempo, 2.- para ir a la alberca no hay orden todos apartan lugar desde las 7am siendo que la alberca la permiten a las 10, 3.- algunos enchufes de la cocina no tenían electricidad y tenías que andar con la licuadora y la cafetera por otros lados para que funcionarán, 4.- colchones viejos e incómodos y...

"Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back. "
