Very nice little apartment hotel! Helpful staff, spacious, clean rooms and lovely boutique vibe. Quite neighborhood with great food nearby including Nepalese restaurant right on the corner, 10 steps away! Would highly recommend Section L hotels.

This is an apartment hotel and best suited for longer stays. The rooms are well stocked with a decent size kitchen and in-suite laundry unit. It's clean and reasonably priced. The neighbourhood is very close to many train lines. But the best thing about Section L is the staff. Very friendly and very helpful!

Small comfy room!

Location was great, tucked away from the noise and crowds, yet still convenient to the attractions & public transport. I chose it specifically for its proximity to the Ueno station to the Narita airport. The room was typically Japanese small but efficient & organized. We were three so we played luggage tetris but there is storage under the bed. We were thankful for the kitchen and washer/dryer (detergent included). Everything was thoughtful. The beds were comfortable. They had already set up the sofa bed when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Like it a lot!

the small apartments have everything you need for a short stay of up to a week while you are travelling around Japan including coocking facilities and utensils a fridge freezer and a washer - dryer. The staff are amazingly friendly and we absolutely loved it.

Section L Yushima is like an efficiency apartment, with a kitchenette and washing machine. It is spacious by Tokyo standards. It is on a quiet side street in the Yushima neighborhood, south of Ueno. There is a Chiyoda Metro entrance just around the corner. There is no maid service, but they have English-speaking attendants (English mother tongue, I would say...) in the lobby 24-7, which is a nice service.

New property with nice style. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern, clean, and had all the features you would need. This hotel is in a nice, convenient location, easy to get to trains, restaurants, and shops. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Room is a little small but expected and spacious enough to have a round table which is nice for our family of four to sit around to snack at. Beds are big and comfy. Sofa beds are comfy too although a little short for a grown man. I like the shower room the best. Shower is hot and has good pressure, perfect after a long day of walking. Shopping malls, restaurants and subway are within walking distance. I recommend this place.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Great to have a washing machine in the room. Beds and pillows were a bit firm but after a long day in Tokyo we still got good rest. Very quiet. Strong AC. Family mart right around the corner. Yushima station is the closest. We would stay here again

Loved the location, near several subway lines and could easily walk to Ueno park. There were many little streets in the surrounding area with small restaurants as well. Really nice to have laundry in our room. Beds were super comfortable. The only negative was how small and cramped the room felt. There were no drawers or closet--just a hanging rack for your clothes. There was no space to even lay a suitcase other than on top of the small 3-person table in the middle of the room. Stayed with my family of 4. Great place if you're ok with a small space!

Staff was very friendly and ready to help, though there was very little I needed beyond what was provided. The room was reasonably small and very clean; the smaller size (compared to U.S.) was helpful when cooling the room down. All appliances were like new and perfectly functional. The room was quiet and we made/recieved no complaints regarding other guests. I would absolutely select this hotel again for a future trip!
