clean efficient rooms .. perfect area for walking to numerous streets for restaurants shopping and a shrine a bit difficult for cabs to locate. but worth it. location is amazing
Exceptional service and kindness from the staff. Great location within walking distance of attractions, yet felt cozy nestled down a charming alley. The pajamas were AMAZING.
Beautiful rooms and excellent location close to many shopping options. Really friendly and accomodating staff. Will definitely return and stay longer next trip.
Tucked away in a quiet alley just moments from the buzz of Hoppy Street and Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Club Hotel is the kind of place you almost don’t want to share —because part of its magic is how hidden it feels.
Our room was modern, clean, and spacious with a nice bathroom and extra comfy bed. It exceeded expectations in size, views and comfort. The location was walking distance to shopping and Sensoji Temple area. Free bike rental was an added bonus to the stay.
Nice staff, great location. The room was small for 4 and one open layout bathroom. It was not a great set up for 2 adults and 2 teens. I would get 2 rooms next time. Nice decor.
the room and amenities were poor - the photos are misleading as the room looks nothing like this - the room was small and cramped - I am not even sure it was the same hotel we booked as the name of the hotel we arrived aat was not the asakus Kokonokurabu but something called the asakusa club hotel
We paid over 200 dollars canadian for this and it had the quality of a 1 star - the only good thing was that staff were really good and helpful. - we would like expedia to investigage the picttures and claims they make as they are not true
I loved everything about this hotel—the location surrounded by charming restaurants and the ancient temple, the cool decor, the room views, the tea and shampoo and pajamas, the staff who went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
Our room was fabulous. Great views. Close to food and shopping, with a Family Mart around the corner. The staff was incredible. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Cute and quiet hotel that is perfect for everything in Asakusa!
Excellent property with clean quiet rooms. We had a beautiful bath for soaking with complimentary bath salts after spending the days exploring the city. We could also see Mount Fuji in the morning.
A few blocks from Hoppy Dori and Senso-Ji. Bonus points for the charming coffee and breakfast restaurant downstairs.
The staff was also excellent.
It’s a small hotel with nice views out of the balcony over to Sky Tree and Sensouji Temple. Rooms are quite spacious (by Tokyo standard), bathrooms are huge. The lounge seatings provided in the room were just not comfortable, and shower will flood everywhere in the bathroom. Will stay again.
This was the worst bed for our backs. I ended up taking the topper and placed it on the floor just to try to get some sleep. Maybe some people like beds with zero support but definitely not for me. Also the bathroom door opened out and had a big step which I slammed my toe into and the tub was so small. We walked so much we wanted to soak at the end of the day like we did in all the other hotels and there was no room to even stretch your legs. The bathroom so small compared to every other hotel. The remote has a Netflix button but not Netflix and the windows did NOT keep the light out, so we’d struggle to fall asleep on the mattress and then first light we were up because the light came right in.
The overwhelmingly outstanding aspects of this hotel were the breakfast (traditional Japanese, with slightly different elements accompanying a consistent offering of salmon, sashimi, rice and soup) and the private terrace off my room. The room itself was nice but the chairs beside the huge picture window were more fashion than function - they were very uncomfortable to sit in. My stay was incredibly quiet. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Free bike use was also a great plus.
