"Very nice hotel, well located with friendly staff. A big issue is the restaurants setting. It only has 2, both high end for dinner. So if you want a quick bite to sleep is either room service or high end cuisine French or Japanese or room service. Some of us just do not like to sleep with ketch up smell!!!"

"The Sendai Metropolitan East is an excellent hotel I've stayed at numerous times and plan on staying there again. It is extremely convenient -- right at the main Sendai Japan Rail station -- but the hotel rooms are quiet (and very clean). There is also an excellent shopping area at the station as well as many excellent restaurants for all price ranges. The breakfast is reasonably priced and generally quite good but could use a wider selection of breads. All told, I give this hotel the highest...
