One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often.

Great Black Forest stay for single traveller

Good value single bed room in top condition and lots of space, with a very good buffet breakfast (if you arrive before 9 - after the choice was limited), a small in-house wellness sauna and access (8 minutes drive or free bus) to partner hotel’s impressive wellness centre (pool, several saunas, steam, plus charged treatments). Food in the atmospherically alpine dining rooms was good, if slightly on the expensive side. Not so good: the website promises a direct access to a lift and alpine run - no information that this had, in fact run out of snow and was closed over a month ago. But the close enough run (Notschrei) was good enough.

Rooms on the road side are extremely noisy because of the cars passing by, even with windows closed. Breakfast was not great either - stale bread, canned fruit and generally average quality produce, clearly not what you expect from a hotel in such a nice area. This was quite surprising as, otherwise, the food in the restaurant was quite good, albeit rather limited in terms of choice.

Völlig überbewertet!

Unvorstellbar, dass dieses Hotel bislang eine 5,0 in der Bewertung hat und wir uns davon haben täuschen lassen. Bei Ankunft war Fenster defekt und der Abfluss im Bad verstopft. Trotz mehrmaliger Reklamation wurde erst spät abends um 22.00 Uhr abhilfe geschaffen.Zimmer sehr laut durch Aufzugslärm und Geruch von Küche, die unter uns lag. Frühstück: Wenig Auswahl, vergammeltes Obst, wurde nicht mehr nachgelegt, Kaffee nicht frisch und kalt, Service lustlos und undfreundlich. Für den Preis von über 75,00 EUR pro Nacht eine unverschämtheit!

Schönes, relativ neues Hotel auf 1000 m Höhe,

Wunderbares Hotel mit großem Schwimmbad mit Sauna. Das Restaurant/KÜche war hervorragend. Hotel eignet sich sehr schön zum Wandern und Skifahren (alpin und Langlauf). Gerne auch um ein paar Tage Urlaub zu machen in schöner Landschaft.

Hübsches Hotel, nahe der Strasse.

Das Hotel war sehr hübsch und gemütlich, mit guter Zimmerausstattung. Die Athmosphäre im Hotel war angenehm und man fühlte sich willkommen. Leider gibt es keine Fensterläden, so wird es schnell hell. Wir hatten leider etwas Pech und ein Zimmer auf Strassenseite, wo der Strassenlärm störend war.

L'espace bien-être pas terrible, des douches qui ne fonctionnaient pas, les massages et les bains bouillonnants sont payants... Les chambres sont bien, le restaurant aussi et le personnel sympathique... Un peu cher vu les prestations!!

Bien dans l'ensemble mise à part le fait qu'il se trouve à cote d'une route principale un peu bruyante, et que lors qu'e ont est arrivée samedi début soirée l'hôtel étais ferme et ont à du aller cherché la clé à deux kilomètres dans un brouillard épais. Moi je trouve pas normal un hôtel ferme un samedi mais bon...
