Some tasteful upgrades, and some thoughtful touches that you can tell have been there for years with cute little signs (like earplugs for snoring partners, mini sewing kit). Even a crib board on the side table. Owner on site was lovely, I booked through Expedia which ended up being slightly more expensive but she only charged me the lower rate. "Beautiful hotel, well kept and clean. Check in process was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the gym on site which was lovely to have accessible 24/7 as we arrived very late at night but wanted to unwind a bit before bed. There was tons of parking options which is absolutely lovely as well. We weren't able to partake in the breakfast but it smelled delicious. "You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre.
