This is a beautiful family run property packed full of local charm and character and hosted by Gustavo who could not have been more friendly or helpful. The property is in the heart of Tilcara and so a short walk to everything you could need. Breakfast is fresh every day and sets you up for the day. The rooms are small but perfect with everything you could need.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. O Gustavo nos deu muitas dicas do que aproveitar na região e foram dicas essenciais para a experiência ficar melhor. Gustavo e Raul são ótimos anfitriões, sempre muito simpáticos. O café da manhã é muito bom, quarto confortável e limpo. Sempre que possível aproveitamos para conversar um pouco com o Gustavo e saber mais sobre a região e sua cultura! Adoramos!

Péssimo custo x beneficio.

O valor é mto caro para os serviços oferecidos, quase o dobro do preço de outros hotéis na cidade. O quarto é apertado, a cama é dura, o travesseiro não é confortável, o café da manhã muito básico pelo preço cobrado. Definitivamente não vale ficar neste hotel, o valor cobrado pelo Hotéis.com é abusivo, uma verdadeira armadilha - procure o Hotel VentoNorte e entenda a minha opinião. Pior hotel que fiquei na região Salta y Jujuy. Sou um viajante experiente e não sou chato, procuro ser justo nas minhas avaliações. O Gustavo proprietário é muito atencioso, mas sua atenção não justifica o valor cobrado.

Muito bem localizado. Bem charmosa a pousada. Gustavo, o proprietário-gerente foi muitissimo atencioso e ajudou muito com dicas dos locais turisticos e de transfer para Salta. Bem confortável o quarto.

Muy linda experiencia, el lugar es atendido por sus dueños, quienes se encargan de contar y transmitir al pasajero la tradición familiar, cultural, ancestral que tiene que ver específicamente con el lugar norteño de la Argentina. Muy ameno y recomendable para quienes quieran sentir y vivir un poco de ellos.

Nice Cozy hotel at Tilcara

Very nice family run hotel. Gustavo & Raúl are warn and welcoming, giving very good advices on the área. Good breakfast with fresh orange juice, bread and pasteles. Room are cozy and with elegante personality.

Bellissimo B&B nel centro di Tilcara, accanto a tutti i servizi. La struttura è molto curata ed allo stesso tempo mantiene lo spirito delle case Andine. Gustavo, il proprietario, è una persona speciale pronto a darvi informazioni ed aiutarvi per qualsiasi cosa. Spettacolare la colazione che si tiene in una stanza molto carini. Vi consiglio di soggiornare qui se passate da Tilcara, vi sentirete a casa vostra!

La struttura si trova in pieno centro di Tilcara ed è molto curata ed autentica. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo prenotato la camera con bagno che affaccia direttamente sul piccolo giardino. Una pace meravigliosa.

This is a small familial guesthouse run by Gustavo. We enjoyed the 3 nights stay in this great place in Tilcara. The room was big enough for two people and the bed very comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean. You can also enjoy the garden and the company of Sonko ( the dog). Gustavo is serving a very nice local breakfast in a very well decorated dinning room. He also offered to park our car in a garage but we were fine parked on the street. Gustavo’s place is really relaxing and you basically feel at home. The central square and nice restaurants are just nearby. I definitely recommend.

We can truly recommend Uwa-Wasi as the owner treated us like members of his family. He has also lovely dog and whole house, rooms, inner garden and small garden house were fabulously maintained and you will have truly Andian experience. Location next to the main square is also great. And not to miss the absolutely delucious breakfast! Really, it s worth spending there your time during your journey in Andian area! Jakub and Tereza

Beautiful guest house in Tilcara

I loved my stay at Uwa-Wasi. It is located right at the heart of Tolcara yet it’s very quiet and relaxing. It is a family own business and the decor is beautiful and authentic. The room i stayed is very comfortable l, i slept very well. Gustavo the owner is very friendly and helpful and always asked how i was and if i need anything. The breakfast is lovely. I stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect place to have as a base and go and explore juyjuy around I highly recommend this beautiful place and would love to come back.
