"The gated parking was a plus. The need for those gates not a plus (nearby area seemed somewhat sketchy) providing the secure parking is appreciated. Location was ideal and convenient, room was clean and adequate. We will definitely stay here again. It is located in a beautiful area scenery-wise."

Great bar and food, friendly helpful staff, great room and appointments, plus I happened to have an excellent balcony and east view, and nice bathroom. Everything was great, except I missed having a microwave. Would definitely stay again and told my local friends about it as well, for their other visiting guests."

Door scraped floor when opening or closing, and hinges needed oiling. Other main issue was that air conditioner would not run continuously, but would cool for a while, and then stop. "The staff were friendly and the location is nice. There's a green belt behind the property which creates nice scenery. Breakfast is coffee and muffins, instant oatmeal packets. Room cleanliness was ok."

"Everything was top notch. The beds were super comfy. Loved the breakfast buffet. Loved having the Claim Jumper right across the street, and an upscale mall right around the corner. There was always a convenient place to park. The Hotel even provided umbrellas for rainy days. Hubby loved the cookies. We definitely will come again when we visit our Portland family."

"Honest review — The front desk staff was friendly. My room was clean. The location was excellent, close to town and the freeway. The third level is the best; however, on the second and first levels, you can hear all the footsteps from guests above, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I might have just had a noisy guest above me. It’s not worth the $257 a night, but it’s still a charming older hotel. "This is my second time staying at this motel. Everything was great, check in went smoothly and quickly. The shower head is made for someone taller (I'm not that thin and felt like I had to run around in the shower to get wet) but otherwise the amenities were good for a motel. For some reason the road noise seemed really loud this time--might recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again."
