"We stayed at the Oxford suite so that we could walk to a concert at the Spokane Arena. There was dining to walk to close by and if we would have chosen to do other things in Spokane there was easy access by walking or driving. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. I would return!"

"Ruby River was great! They have an awesome giant fish in the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The restaurant breakfast is tasty and the pool looks gorgeous, though we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. We had a lovely stay and would happily return or recommend it."

"Building is older but it had an artistic atmosphere. Many fun pieces of artwork of classic movie stars in the rooms and common areas. They were projecting old cartoons on the parking lot wall when you checked in. Staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a train track right next to the hotel, but I didn't hear anything having a room on that side of the building and was able to sleep just fine on a Wednesday night. They did provide ear plugs in the room, so maybe it was a night the train didn't come by. Breakfast is provided by Rosie's Restaurant over by the Hotel Ruby. It was about a block away on foot. The elevator is a little small if you need to use a wheelchair or have other special needs. The room had a large mini fridge with tiny freezer, small microwave, Keurig machine, hair dryer, and TV. I didn't try out their WiFi. Area around the hotel was safe and clean. I would stay here again, 5 stars."

2 nights with in 4 days both Wonderful

"The room was clean and comfortable we stayed twice within 4 days and both times the staff were excellent friendly (they remembered us) and helpful! Only drawback is you have to pay $30 for parking, you could park on the street, but lots of sketchy people on the streets of Spokane. The parking is in a secured garage so worth the peace of mind since we had all our camping gear in the car. The other insider secret get a courtyard room it has no view but is cheaper and the views from our room the second night was let’s say a city scape and not worth the extra dough. Also if you love railroad history this building used to be a staff hotel for rail workers so every room has a wall depicting railroad history of Spokane!"
