"The room and bed were pretty good and close to terminal 1 but that was about it. There was no towels in room. Nophone to call reception. So I went down and they promised to get me towels before I got back from my meeting but still no towels. Had to go down again. This time they just gave me them up take up!
WiFi so poor it’s unusable and really bad reception of data too. When I checked in the past said I put in room number and my name for WiFi. I tried every combination and didn’t work. Had to go to reception where the colleague said irs just first three letters of name only! All together frustrating and wouldn’t stay there again. It’s cheap yes but deservedly so."
"Fantastic stay. Don’t believe the bad reviews! I was nervous cos of the mixed reviews but we had to book cos we needed one night at Nice to go to Marseille and that area. Seen plenty of Nice /Antibes already so wanted a change but didn’t realise I had booked at a time when it was crazy prices in Nice ( nothing under £400 a night) -realised today on check out it’s cos of the Monaco Grand Prix so try and avoid that !!- anyhow, we had 10 hours at the ibis…. It was very clean, super quiet, no plane noise or other noise and we were outside a lift! Good curtains, no light in. Room 622, charming cleaner as we left. Best value for money was the amazing breakfast for about £8 a head that we had prebooked in the cost - you can get it there but need to ask the day before. Cracking brekky and defo would stay again. It’s minutes to a nearby train station too ( Augustin) to take you into nice station- or the other way to antibes and beyond. Also, as we flew into terminal 2 ( international) - there’s a free shuttle to terminal 1 and it’s about a 5/6 min walk from there. Hotel also has a bar that’s in the attached Novotel so you just walk through. Good place to stay. If you have more time and money and like planes, the Sheraton has a roof top cafe with airport runway views!"
"The hotel is close to the airport and that’s about the only positive I can stay. Check in took forever. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. Beds are extremely uncomfortable - mattress practically non-existent. We arrived late in the evening and brought a salad in to eat dinner and were told to eat outside or in our room. We were not allowed to eat in the common area unless we ordered from the restaurant- and there was nobody there! It felt like a very expensive youth hostel."
"Incredible staff and concierge. We were taken care of for everything, whether it was the spa treatments, private driving services to and from the airport and around the bay, and restaurants with highly trained staff. Great stay."
